"Registration Failed" when on bootable recovery media

Thread needs solution

I am using the bootable recovery media trying to restore an entire server and I get an error when using the registration option. I have verified that the code is correct.

I can access network resources, so I know there is network connectivity.

I tried to google the error codes, but it came up with nothing.

Anyone encounter this before?

Hello Paul,

I would suggest creating a Support Ticket so this issue could be investigated and linked to an existing or new bug found. Please provide your product used, account login and DC, along with brief description of the issue when submitting the ticket.

There is a fix for the same issue logged in our backlog to be deployed in two months but it is for agents for ESXi 6.5 and another still investigated for product Acronis Cyber Backup Advanced Virtual Host. So the best is that you submit a ticket and your issue scenario be addressed to the correct product and RnD team that should develop a fix. Also our support engineers could share a known workaround. I was unable to find one but with deeper investigation something could be suggested.
