Acronis Cyber Protect crashing on Windows 11

Thread needs solution

Hi, I'm not sure how to get passed this but I have a brand new Surface Studio laptop with Windows 11 and just downloaded Acronis Cyber Protect.  After I installed it, I cannot start it as it crashes.

Hello Angela!

Welcome to the forum.

Please make sure your antivirus isn't blocking or crashing the program. You can test it by temporarily disabling the antivirus or firewall and then opening the program. If the program works, you need to adjust your local security programs. https://kb.acronis.com/content/36429

I suggest you download the agent again and fix the installation or reinstall it. You can do this by visiting: https://kb.acronis.com/node/1642

If the issue persists, please raise a ticket with our support team at https://kb.acronis.com/content/8153 and provide more details.

Best regards.

my cyber protect home office says active protection is off, I click on install on that overview tab for protect and it eventually says successful but it still says active protection is off, what to do?
