How can I remove computers from list that havent communicated within a timeframe

Thread needs solution

Hi,

We currently have approximately 75 devices that haven't connected to the protect agent in quite some time.  Is there a way that I can bulk remove these devices (either from the connect website or from the app) from our list that haven't connected longer than 6 months?

Thanks -- Dan

Hello Daniel. Welcome to the forum.

If the agents don't have connections with the console the only way is uninstall the agents : https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/CyberProtectConnect…

If there is connection you can delete the machine as per user-guide: https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/CyberProtectConnect…

You can also delete the user/tenant or disable the service and all the machines in there will be removed.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Dan,

To remove computers from your list that haven't connected to the Protect agent for longer than 6 months, you can typically follow these steps, assuming you're using a software or platform with administrative control:

Log In to Your Admin Account: Access the Connect website or app using your administrative credentials.

Access Device List: Navigate to the section or tab where your list of devices is displayed. This is usually found in the dashboard or a similar admin interface.

Sort or Filter Devices: Look for sorting or filtering options within the device list. You'll want to filter the devices based on their last connection date. You can usually select a date range such as "more than 6 months ago."

Select Multiple Devices: Most management interfaces allow you to select multiple devices at once. You can often do this by checking boxes next to the devices' names or using a "Select All" option if available.

Remove or Delete: Once you have the outdated devices selected, look for an option to remove or delete them in bulk. This option is typically found in a menu or toolbar at the top or bottom of the device list.

Confirm Removal: Some systems may ask you to confirm the removal of these devices to prevent accidental deletions. Confirm and proceed.

Review and Verify: After the removal process is complete, review your device list to ensure that only the intended devices were removed.

Please note that the exact steps and terminology may vary depending on the specific software or platform you are using. If you're unsure about how to perform this task, consult the user documentation or support resources provided by the software or platform provider for more specific guidance.

I hope this helps you clean up your device list efficiently!
