10G Intel Network card issue after restore reboot

Thread needs solution

Hi all,

I wanted to know how I can include drivers in boot, when I try to restore a disk from Windows 11.

In my computer I have 2 network cards 1G and 10G, currently only 10G card is available so when I do a save to my Synology NAS I use 10G, all is OK.

BUT when I want to restore my disk from windows, I select my restore point ... click on OK, computer reboot to restore ... when my computer is restarted and aconis try to connect network ... no connection so NAS is not available etc. IF I connect a cable on my 1G network card all is OK but it's very long :(

It seems the Acronis boot files doesn't include drivers for my 10G card (Intel or Asus on other computer), but only standard drivers

Do you know how I can include my 10G drivers in acronis boot?

Thank you so much for your help

The above method of restoring your OS disk is at the heart of the issue here as starting the restore from Windows and allowing the PC to restart uses a very small Linux based kernel OS with multiple known issues.

The recommended method to do this type of OS disk restore is to boot the PC from Acronis rescue media created using the 'Simple' option which creates Windows PE based media that will include device drivers from the Windows Recovery environment.
