ACPHO on Mac OS

Thread needs solution

I've just purchased a 3 machine subscription to ACPHO and have installed it on a Windows PC and also MacOS Monterey 12.6 on a MacBook Pro.

The Windows installation runs fine but I am having issues on my Mac. The program seems to run very slowly which is strange as the MacBook has an Intel i5 processor with 8GB of memory. The main issue however is that when I try to run Protection or Backup I am prompted to allow Full File Access. I do this and both files are shown as added in the Security dashboard. However the prompt returns each time I run ACPHO and I cannot get out of this loop. Consequently I am unable to backup or protect my MacBook?

Dear Robert Marshall,
Thank you for reaching out. As I can see in our internal system, you have contacted Acronis support and the problem was resolved. Please let us know if it still relevant and we can advise something else for you.

Dear Daria,

Thank you for the reply, I contacted support for assistance with uninstalling the trial version and reinstallation on a Windows PC and your colleague was extremely helpful. At that time I hadn’t installed the product on my Mac, its only now I have that the issue has come to light.

Dear Robert Marshall,
Thank you for the answer. We would recommend checking this article: Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office, Acronis True Image: how to grant full disk access on macOS 10.14 Mojave or later | Knowledge Base
Please let us know whether it was helpful or not.

Hi Daria,

Yes have tried that several times and have granted Full Disk Access but without any success in getting ACPHO to run.
