Acronis 19: I deleted the backup from the program. The files are still on my USB drive-how to fix

Thread needs solution

I made a backup last week and want to restore it. I may have inadvertantly deleted the backup from the Acronis program. Can I get it back? The backup files are still on my external drive.

Please help!!

If all the backup .tib / .tibx files are still present on your external drive, then you can add them back to the main Acronis application GUI by using the option to 'Add existing backup' - that option is obscured behind a caret 'v' to the right of the + Add backup option and will be revealed if you hover your mouse over the caret.

When adding an existing backup, select the most recent backup file from the external drive, then after the backup is added you can then change the backup task name (to remove any extra characters brought from the file name) and you can also Reconfigure the task if wanted.

Thanks but they are not .TIB files. They look like this:

- hdd-0.pvhd

- hdd-0_e00.p01 and are all about 4 GB each.

Using 2019 I do not see the ability to add a backup. Only Clone, Rename or Delete.

The forum will not allow me to upload images of them to make it easier to see.

Hello.

Our agent doesn't create files with that extension name.

Probably they are from another software.

Thanks in advance!
