Acronis media builder

User of Acronis True image for many years and without any problem of use, I finally decided to use Acronis Cyber ​​Protect Home (version 40338) on my new computer Asus ProartStudioBook H7604JV (W11 Pro, I9-13980HX, 32Go , NVMe M2 SSD, Bitlocker disabled).

I cannot create Acronis Media Builder rescue media on a USB flash drive, the search for drivers fails. I had never encountered this type of problem with previous ATI versions.

Before moving on to MVP, I would like the basic version to work properly.

Do you have an idea?

What options are you selecting when trying to use the Acronis Media Builder tool?

Are you taking the Simple option?

What drivers are being searched for?

Note: the media builder creates a log file for when it is used which may show more information on what is happening.  The MVP Assistant tool can help you find the Media Builder log.

The search for drivers starts automatically and does not stop.

I have the same thing by choosing the Simple option.

I would suspect that Acronis needs drivers for your Asus ProartStudioBook H7604JV (W11 Pro, I9-13980HX, 32Go, SSD NVMe M2 such as for Intel RST VMD which may need to be added manually (via using the Advanced option of the Media Builder).

As you are using ACPHO latest build #40338, then I would recommend raising this directly with Acronis Support to get them to investigate with you, especially given how new the Intel CPU is.

Again, please check the Media Builder log for any messages it may contain about the specific drivers it is searching for?

j'ai essayé toutes les options de création du média et à chaque fois le programme lance automatiquement une recherche de pilotes (même en mode simple). Cette recherche est sans fin et je n'ai qu'une seule possibilité, c'est la touche retour.

j'ai désinstallé puis réinstallé Acronis, sans succès.

j'ai contacté les services techniques (ticket n° 05981141) mais toujours pas de réponse.

De plus en plus compliqué d'utiliser Acronis!!!!!

Try using the latest version of the New MVP Assistant Version 2.7.1 which has a Rescue Media builder function which includes a Driver analysis tool.

- dans l'environnement WINPE, mes disques ne sont pas reconnus. Seule la clé USB contenant le Rescue Média Builder apparaît. Avez-vous une idée?

- dans l'environnement WINRE, mes disques sont reconnus et je peux enfin faire la sauvegarde de mon système.

Par contre, malgré les recommandations du programme MVP pour la résolution de l'écran (3200x2000, scale: 100%), l'affichage d'ACRONIS est très mauvais. Je suis obligé d'agrandir les différentes pages au cours du processus. Y a t'il un autre réglage à faire?

Good to read that you are able to backup your system with the MVP WinRE rescue media.

For the display / resolution issue, then the options are either to choose a lower resolution when configuring the Project, or else when in the WinPE rescue environment, open the Display Settings app from the icon in the launch bar, then use the SetDpi command to increase the scaling to render the Acronis application a larger size.

MVP est un excellent outil. 

J'ai baissé ma résolution d'écran mais il y a toujours un problème d'affichage des différentes fenêtres lors de l'éxécution du module ACPHO

Using the MVP Assistant to set the screen resolution can be tricky. Trying to find the right one can be harder for a high resolution monitor. The Acronis application does not seem to be "DPI aware" and thus does not handle certain display settings very well.

As Steve mentioned, the Display Settings app can be used the change the resolution and DPI in the booted rescue media.

Also, you can change the fonts in the Acronis application. There is a Network Settings button on the upper blue menu bar and when that is opened there is a Appearance tab where you can set the fonts, which may also improve the interface. In the next version of the MVP Assistant, there will be an application to save the Acronis settings.
