Acronis survival kit - can I keep updating new backups into the kit easily?

Thread needs solution

Hi all,

I have been using a NAS to backup my wife's pc.  I'm using ACP and it is creating the backups properly onto the NAS. Using the fairly typical Differential or Incremental BU settings to keep at least two full versions available while deleting the oldest.

I ran across the Survival Kit this a.m. and thought this may be a better overall solution.  I have decided to attach a 1 TB NVME via the USB C connector.  Speeds are great versus using WiFi. Like 1400 Mbps.

So, the question is:  Can I keep updating her backups weekly into the NVME drive and will it simply either add in the new items or re-write each time?  Therefore, the kit is not only intact but the BU is constantly being updated?

Thx DD

Hello Dave!

The backup of your data can be used as a normal backup: it can contain any data that you need to secure, you can set up Scheduling ( https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/ATI2024/#7941.html ) to update it as a normal backup.

For more details, please refer to :

Best regards.
