Acronis True Image for Crucial

Thread needs solution

Hi all,

I am no computer wizard.  Just an older guy trying to go from 1TB to 2TB.  I received a few errors when trying to complete the cloning process.  I have also uploaded the system report.  I could use some help figuring out how to get this done.

First error:

Failed to write to sector '136,806,768' of hard disk '2'.  Failed to write the snapshot manager drive. (0x1000DA) Unknown status. (0x9) The device is not ready (0xFFF0)

Second error (after clicking cancel):

Failed to write to sector '-429,127,680' of hard disk '2'. Failed to write the snapshot manager drive. (0x1000DA) Unknown status. (0x9) A device which does not exist was specified (0xFFF0)

Third error (after clicking cancel)

Failed to read from sector '0' of hard disk '2'. Try to repeat the operation.  If the error persists, check the disk using Check Disk Utility and create a backup of the disk.  Failed to read the snapshot manager drive. (0x1000D7) Unknown status. (0x9) A device which does not exist was specified (0xFFF0)

This is now way over my head.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a CT2000MX500SSD1 - 2TB solid state drive.  I have it connected to the desktop with a StarTech USB 3.0 to 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD Cable w/UASP

Thanks!

Hello!

Welcome to the forum.

Support for the Acronis OEM  software is handled through the company whose product contained the Acronis OEM software, as they are best equipped to understand the specific OEM application as well as the relationship between the Acronis software and their product https://kb.acronis.com/content/2201

Please also note that cloning has several restrictions and pre-requisites in general so you can give it a try to a regular backup and recover with the bootable media after on the new disk/machine.

Best regards.
