Can I return to Acronis True Image 2021 after I install Acronis Cyber Protect
So I am going to try a years subscription to Acronis Cyber Protect. If after say 11 months I decide I don't want to continue to pay the annual subscription, is it possible for me to simply uninstall Acronis Cyber Protect and then do an install of the stand alone program True Image 2021 using my license from my True Image 2021?
I have heard I can't run both software packages on my computer concurrently. Either True Image or Acronis Cyber Protect may only be installed. I am just looking at the ability to get rid of Acronis Cyber Protect at a later date and go back to using True Image 2021. I understand that any backups done by the new cyber protect product won't be able to be restored by True Image 2021 and I if I do the move back, I would be fine with that. I'd just pick up with new backups of my PC using True Image 2021.
Thank you for any information you can provide. Gary

Steve Smith wrote:Gary, quick answer is 'Yes' - you can fully uninstall ACPHO and revert to an older version of True Image.
You can also create ACPHO bootable rescue media to use with any backup images you have created with that version and use that media after uninstalling.
Steve. Great answer. Thank you very much!!!
