Can the Software Do What I Want?
Hi:
Looking for some guidance regarding the software from users before I buy to see if it will be able to do what I am looking for.
I have a PC with 4 drives with data to be backed up (I have attached a document that hopefully explains the set up). The PC also has 2 drives for back-up. In addition to these 4+2 drives (all internally loaded inside the PC case) I have 6 external backup drives (2 sets of 3 drives) that will be connected to the PC. But only one set at a time, generally over a one month period after which time that set would be taken off-site for storage, and the 2nd set, which was located off-site would be brought back home and connected up to the computer and be backed up incrementally (with one month of new/revised data files to deal with on the first day back).
I am looking for the ability to back all these discs up incrementally, without any user input (after setup) and using individual back-up sets.
C+D (orig'l) --> P, R, and U
X (orig'l) --> Q, S, and V
Y (orig'l) --> Q, T, and W
Basically 8 scripts (being backups to P, Q, ..., W), with 5 being active at anyone time.
I am sure I have left things out and I will answer any questions to clarify things as they come along.
Thanks
