Clone AutoDesk License to new SSD System Disk

Thread solved

Has anyone successfully cloned an AutoDesk License to a new SSD System Disk?

I have AutoDesk Product Design Suite 2013 running on a HP Z2 Workstation and would like to upgrade the SSD.

Thanks, Chris

Hello Chris,

Our program can't control such issues with 3rd party apps. It's expected that once you clone a disk, certain programs detect that the key is being used on different hardware. You should contact AutoDesk and inquire about how to move the licenses.

Best regards.

Thanks Jose, OK my problem is not going to be solved by Cloning to a new SSD. Unfortunately, Autodesk have stopped providing support to their earlier versions despite selling these products with a perpetual licence so I am stuck with the current PC setup. Cheers, Chris

Hello!

Maybe this will help: https://help.autodesk.com/view/INSTALL_LICENSE/ENU/?guid=GUID-47C8BDE2-…

Best regards.

Thanks Jose,

Autodesk have stopped supporting products older than 2014 and as my product is a 2013 version Autodesk do not permit me to use the above link. Cheers, Chris
