Drive C doesn't appear when booting from Cyber Protect USB

Thread needs solution

When I boot to a brand new Acer laptop with my Cyber Protect USB, the attached external HDD and Acronis USB appear in the directory but the internal SSD does not show up. Any ideas on how to solve would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hello Peter,

Welcome to the forum!

I suggest using the WinPE Bootable Media for that process. You can find more information here: https://kb.acronis.com/content/69427

Additionally, please review and apply the solutions provided in this knowledge base article: https://kb.acronis.com/content/45330

If the issue persists, kindly create a support ticket with our team: https://kb.acronis.com/content/8153

Thank you in advance!

Thanks Jose,

I'm trying to follow the solution in https://kb.acronis.com/content/59611

I don't understand the first step listed below. Where is this management console located? Thanks again.

  1. To download the installation file: in Management Console, click the Account button in the top right > Downloads > select All agents for Windows (64-bit) or All agents for Windows (32-bit)

Bootable Media Builder creates bootable media with both 32-bit and 64-bit components. In most cases, you will need a 64-bit media to boot a machine that uses Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI).

I have updated the KB in the first response.
