Driver Incompatible

Thread needs solution

Win 11 will not turn on memory integrity.  Says tib.sys - TIB explorer version 1.0.0.10011 from Acronis is an incompatible driver. Is this something to fix?

Hello Barbara. Welcome to the forum!

Please refer to the following KB with more details about that situation: https://kb.acronis.com/content/70782

Thank in advance!

Jose, 70782: Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office, Acronis True Image: Compatibility with Memory integrity feature  gives an 403 access forbidden error when trying to follow the link / open the document!

Barbara,

This is a known issue and only resolved by Acronis in build 40107 or later of Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office which now offers a Custom Install option where users can now elect not to install the 'Try&Decide tool' feature (which brings the tib.sys driver to Windows).

For users of older versions of Acronis, see forum topic: Incompatible Driver(s): tib.sys? | Acronis Forum for information on how to circumvent the issue by renaming tib.sys to such as tib.~sys or by removing the associated registry entry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\tib

Note: you may need to do a Safe mode start of Windows to action the above options.

Hello Steve!

Probably there was some maintenance on KB. Right now the page opens properly ( at least from my side ).

Thanks in advance!

Jose, still giving 403 Forbidden but looks to be being caused by my using a VPN as the page does load when I disconnect the VPN....!  I guess someone has previously used the VPN IP address in a way that Acronis doesn't like!
