How do I stop the spam from the Acronis marketing department?

Thread needs solution

I’m setting up a new PC with Windows 11 and being bombarded by spam desktop notifications from the Acronis Marketing Team.

Acronis is not listed in the apps that I can turn off notifications for. I know at one time it required contacting a moderator here with your email address and she would in turn contact whoever she needed to that gets the spam stopped.

There is no “Never ask again” choice, only “Maybe later”. I know this has been beat to death, but these guys need to be reined in. Spamming customers that are paying for a product isn’t right.

So… who do I need to contact to beg to get this spam stopped?

Please check our KB regarding those notifications:

At the moment you can't totally disable the notifications.

Open the notification (by clicking on Learn more when the notification appears) and check Don't show again box.
