Need help cleaning up old backup files

Thread needs solution

Forum is not easy to do searches.

I installed True Image 2021 (or Cyber Protect, I don't remember which), It was causing problems with my system so I un-installed it. The problem is that the old backup files are left in the external drive and I want to remove them.

I used the Cleanup Tool to remove any traces of True Image in my system but the backup files are still there.

I have the following files in my external drive:

MySystemName_xDrive.tibx (several drive files)
MySystemName_Files_full_b1_s1_v1.tib
My partition.tibx

Are they safe to remove manually?

Thanks

Cesar. if you have fully uninstalled the Acronis product that created the .tib / .tibx files then they are safe for you to delete manually.

Hello Cesar!

As properly mentioned by Steve, if the program is removed, should be OK to just delete the backups manually.

Thanks !
