Non-cloud replication

Thread solved

My internet speed is insufficient to make cloud replication practical.  How can back up my Acronis back up files (replicate) to an independant external hard drive and how would the replicated back up be used for recovery?   Thank you.

Meihobo, welcome to these public User Forums.

Acronis will only allow replication between 2 or more PC's where all PC's are running Acronis software (True Image or Cyber Protect Home Office), or to the Acronis Cloud servers.

There is no option to replicate to a locally connected external storage drive, NAS etc.

With the advent of using TIBX files for ATI 2020, 2021 and ACPHO, the best / recommended way of achieving the same end result as replication would be to have multiple (duplicate) backup tasks for the same Source data but directed to different Destination locations.

Using multiple backup tasks means that you can run these on schedules that meet your usage requirements, and if using automatic cleanup, don't need to worry about manually managing the backup files in each location.
