Partitions rearranged

Thread solved

After a restore I noticed the partitions were in a different order, what caused this?

Top image is after and bottom was before the restore, and the primary un-formatted partition is a different size

Any help here is appreciated.   Note it's another program that's showing partitions, but they did get rearranged.

The last partition is also 1MB smaller?

I have also used Terabyte unlimited Image for Windows and Macrium reflect, neither have never restored one of my computers with the partitions rearranged (incorrect order).  I still can't figure how Acronis did this on a restore.

I only purchased one license, and still thinking whether to refund or not.

I created a support ticket, how they handle it will determine.

Meanwhile if any of you know how such a thing happened, please let me know.

Years ago I used TI 11 and never had any problems with it.  But I also used Symantec system recovery (Ghost 11) also and a second backup.

The positions of the Microsoft System Reserved and System EFI partitions should make no difference to the ability of the computer to boot correctly and my own computer show the same arrangement with the MSR before the EFI partition as it has been for the last 4 years or so.

Acronis will try to resize partitions automatically to fit when any difference in drive size is encountered during a restore.

So far acronis is the only one that's done this. In fact the linux boot disk restores rearranged, I tried the winre boot disk and it actually put all in corder and size.

Macrium Reflect, Image for WIndows (Terabyte Unlimited), and R-Drive has never done this.
