Problem with cloning HDD to SSD

Thread needs solution

I've used this program before with not much isssue but now I'm not sure how to fix this. I had a problem with windows on my crucial SDD. So to fix that problem I just decided to load back my HDD from 3 months ago rather then completely wiping windows. I get to where you have to select the required cloning method and it goes through the process. No errors come up but it just takes me back to the same place "select the required cloning method". If anyone has had this problem or could help me I'd appreciate it.

Hello Christopher.

Welcome to the forum!

Please try the following solutions:

- Check destination disk: Ensure that the destination HDD is properly connected and recognized by your system. You can do this by checking the disk management tool in Windows or using disk utility tools in macOS.

- Verify disk health: Run diagnostic tools, such as CrystalDiskInfo or SMART (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology), to check the health status of both your source HDD and destination SSD. This will help ensure that the drives are in good condition.

- Verify compatibility: Ensure that your SSD and the cloning software you are using are compatible with each other and with your system

If the issue persists, please contact Crucial so they can help you solving the issue: https://kb.acronis.com/content/2201

Thanks in advance!
