PxHlpa64.sys and Windows 11 Core Isolation

Thread needs solution

Hi. I recently upgraded to Windows 11 when still using Tre Image 2018. When I tried to enable the 'Core Isolation' feature on Windows 11, I couldn't due to a driver named 'PxHlpa64.sys'. The information provided for this driver show that it was by Rovi Corporation and was version number 3.0.96.0. Further internet searches shows that this was part of Acronis True Image.

I upgraded to Acronis Cyber protect, believing that this might solve the issue. However, when attempting tom activate the Windows 11 'Core Protection' feature again, I ran into the same issue.\\

Any idea how to get around this issue? Is 'PxHlpa64.sys' essential to the running of 'Cyber Protect'?

I am running Windows 11 version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.1992)

Thanks

Jon, welcome to these public User Forums.

PxHlpa64.sys is Sonic CD/DVD disc driver system driver file and not related to any Acronis application.

Hello Jon.

Welcome to the forum!

As mentioned properly by Steve our agent doesn't have any service or driver with that name. It is related with a 3rd party Hardware/app.

Thanks in advance!
