quarantine of '.exe. files

Thread needs solution

I am a software developer and frequently generate '.exe' files. They get quarantined immediately by the Protection Module. I was forced to disable it.

Is there a way to configure the Protection Module to make it usable by users like me?

Hello!

Welcome to the forum.

You can add those files as exclusion from the protection.

Please check the user-guide with the instructions about how to do it: https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/ATI2023/#52576.html

Feel free to reply if you have any additional queries.

Thanks in advance!

You may find it easier to exclude the directories used for your development projects. From time to time, I have had issues with various video editing software I use; I found the quick solution was to exclude the M.2 drive where I store the videos as well as the executables for the various software that I am using.
