recovery drive problems

Thread needs solution

hi, i have cyber protect.  i have created recovery drive with the simple way, it will not fully load on hp 15t laptop.  i created the win pe version, will not fully load either.  did the linux version and it loads fine, but will not show the newly installed internal nvme drive.  in reading past forum answers i see the linux version does not play well with some drives, but the other options do not work. thank you

Hello Christopher!

Welcome to the forum!

The issue is mentioned in the following KB's :

Also:

  1. Ensure that you have the latest updates and drivers for your laptop, including firmware updates for the NVMe drive if available. Sometimes, compatibility issues can be resolved with updated drivers.

  2. Try creating the recovery drive again using the Acronis Media Builder tool, but this time, use a different USB flash drive or external storage device. Sometimes, using a different device can help in cases where the original device has compatibility issues.

  3. Check the BIOS settings of your laptop to ensure that the NVMe drive is properly recognized and enabled. If the drive is not visible in the BIOS, the recovery environment might not be able to detect it either.

If the issue persists, please raise a ticket with our support at: https://kb.acronis.com/content/8153

Thanks in advance!
