Restore failing saying only that it completed with errors

Thread solved

Hello,

I am trying to restore my Windows 10 Home PC running on a VM using Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office, Build 40278.  I have logged in with my Acornis user account and attempted several restores from full system, full disk and just individual files.  All are coming up with the same error saying "Completed with errors."

I checked the logs and it seems like it's having an issue with my user account, but not sure what the issue is.  I have tried logging out and back in but I still see this error in the log:  error 0x3c: User reference expired.

Hello Sean!

I see there is an open support ticket for the issue. The team is currently checking the logs in order to provide a solution.

Could you please perform the restore with the AUR? https://kb.acronis.com/ati2022/aur

Please apply all those steps and let me know if was possible to execute them properly.

Thanks.

Sean, see my YouTube video Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office Cloud Recovery (Disk) showing a successful restore to one of my own Hyper-V VM systems.

Thank you very much Steve for adding the video!

Thank you for your input on my issue.  My issue was actually resolved with build 40338.  Once that came out, and I updated my Acronis CyberProtect Home Office application, the restores started working with no issues.  I must have found a bug that was fixed in this release.

Thanks again! :-)
