Still stuck at 40173 for reliable backups?

Thread needs solution

Has Acronis finally managed to release an update that actually works and can reliably perform backups or are we still stuck at 40173?

Not even the forums seem to work these days, I get a 403 Forbidden as soon as I try to comment anything it seems, even though I can make new posts. It's like Acronis has  given up completely....

Among the many errors, "Uncaught Error: Cannot find module "./notification"

Since I am unable to commend due to 403 errors with the forum I update this poste instead which seems to work

The backup problem with recent versions of ACPHO is well documented in these forums already and have from before already a ticket that confirms the problem and that the solution is (or at least was) to downgrade, thus the question. Also, please fix the forum

There have been 3 new builds since #40173 was released for ACPHO with the latest build having been available since early April 2023 - #40338

I haven't seen any recent reports of users having issues with backups for this latest build so can only suggest that you make a current backup of Windows then give it a try.

Not sure what the issue is with the forum that you are seeing, I would suggest cleaning out your web browser cache which should help.  Again, although there have been some issues with the Forum, these have been primarily 404 errors where Acronis seem to be doing updates to the Drupal CMS software used by the forum.  I haven't seen any issues with posting text updates though again there have been ongoing issues with posting images and attachments that works on some days and not on others!
