Unable to connect to Acronis Servers

Thread needs solution

Morning all,

New to Acronis, just installed True Image and registered successfully.

Now attempting to launch the application, which initiates with a sign-on screen, but continually receive the following error message :

- Failed to connect to Acronis Server

Downloaded the 'Acronis Cloud Connection Verification Tool' for AUS, and executed ...... verification:

- Frontend Servers: Success

- Registration Servers: Success

- RPC Servers: verification appears to have stalled (hanging for the last 45 min)

I suspect this is the cause of my issue, does anyone know how to escalate to issue to App Support to get it fixed?

This service have been down for at least 1.5 hours!

Also, where does Acronis notify users of such matters ..... newsfeed/service status etc?

Hello Ian.

At the moment we don't have any issue with the AU datacenter.

Thae issue is probably related with local network issues.

Please try the following: 

- Reboot the device

- Exclude program folders and executables from antivirus and other security programshttps://kb.acronis.com/content/36429

- Make sure all the ports are open: https://kb.acronis.com/content/1711

( You can disable temporarly the A.virus and the firewall for testing proposes and check if the program works after, if yes, that's the confirmation something is blocking the connections ).

- Make sure the services are up and running: https://kb.acronis.com/content/69466 ( restart them manually and check if there are errors while doing it)
