Updated to ACPHO 40713
I ran the update today.
I run with protection and Try&Decide uninstalled. I did a Custom Update and made sure that the backup component was the only thing installed.
Everything went smoothly and it came up fine. I didn't see anything amiss.
I then started the MVP Assistant version 2.7.4 to verify it and check the logs. I didn't see any major issues.
A minor issue appeared. In the Acronis Configuration I had to again Disable the four configurable features, which is standard procedure after an update because the install enables my disabled services. The issue is that under this new version it was required to do a Windows reboot to complete the change to the services. After the reboot all was as it should be. I suspect the new version prevents the services from being stopped, although I could still set them to disabled.
I created a rescue disk, booted it and ran a couple disk backups. At first I encountered a hiccup whereby the Acronis app suddenly disappeared. I think I might I might have hit the wrong Close Window box, but I'll never know. I started it up again and ran two disk backups.
I rebooted Windows and added my two new backups to the UI and ran validations, which both succeeded.
That's as far as I've gotten so far. From this limited point of view, it looks like a minor update. All the major new protections are in areas I have not installed.

I also did a Custom Upgrade of build 40713 with only the main backup program installed. I get the exact same problem where the Universal Restore media builder will not run.
1. I'm going to uninstall Universal Restore and see if the Tool/Universal Restore button directs me to download UR. If it does, I'll download and reinstall Universal Restore.
2. If 1. above doesn't work, I'm going to uninstall both Universal Restore and ACPHO and then do a clean install of ACPHO build 40713 and Universal Restore to see if the Universal Restore media builder will run.
I'll report back with my results.

Well, that didn't take long.
I followed the steps in 1. of my post above. It worked perfectly. After I uninstalled Universal Restore, the Tools/Universal Restore button did direct me to a download page. I downloaded and reinstalled Universal Restore 64 bit version. Now the Tools/Universal restore button successfully runs the Universal Restore media builder.

I can confirm that resinstallation of AUR works. I also noted that it is exactly the same version of AUR, so something in the ACPHO update must have broken something in AUR.
