Acronis Drive files saved to SSD as well as backup drive

Thread solved

I read Steve's post on how to change the Acronis Drive letter, but my problem is that Acronis is plopping 160 GB onto my SSD C: drive, full of years of mobile backup data, despite the fact that the both the PC and mobile backups are on the T: which is a separate hard drive. Sometimes it show up as the U: drive, but that doesn't really matter. It's the fact that it's saving real data to my SSD C: drive. Before it was under C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Acronis. I thought I was just doing the backup to the wrong place, restarted it on T: and made sure that was working, then deleted it off the C: drive. Now it's recreated this 160 GB thing under my son's login at C:\Users\Max\AppData\Local\Acronis.

Note that it would then back up the whole 160 GB to the cloud and to my backup drive.

Weird, or is it just me?

Dave, in all honesty I stopped using Acronis Mobile backup hence my own Acronis Drive is always empty.

Acronis Drive is poorly designed with no cleanup options provided, is limited to what the Mobile backup app is able to backup due to a lack of root access in both IOS and Android, therefore I use the native IOS and Android tools, including such as Google Cloud backup etc.

All right then! Acronis Drive and Mobile backup are out of here! Wasn't enjoying them much anyway. Let's see if that 160 GB mess goes away after.

Yup, no more 160 GB of useless mobile data lying around on my SSD, or my backups.

Thanks for the easiest solution ever!

You are welcome Dave!
