Acronis True Image 2021 Perpetual License Duration

Thread solved

I may be mistaken, but it appears Acronis has switched over to a subscription service model for all home and business products?  I'm thinking Acronis 2021 was the final consumer offering that's a perpetual license that will be maintained for at least a year or two?  It would be pretty wild if 2021 received maintenance updates for the entire duration of Windows 10 and 11 so long as customers keep up to date with the latest servicing version.  E.G. currently 21H2.  Acronis can you please comment on what people should expect?

ATI 2021 has been out of support since about August 2021, so only in exceptional circumstances would a new build be released - an example of which is Build 39287 which was released on 27 January 2022 (updates were also released for ATI 2017 to ATI 2020 about the same time).

Perpetual means exactly what it implies.  It should keep working for as long as the version of Windows (or Mac OS) allows it to do so.

I have tested ATI 2015 running on Windows 11 and it still works, as do the later versions too.

The only issue I have found to date is that the Archive feature of ATI 2021 does not work on Windows 11. All is working fine on Windows 10 that I have tested.

Wow.  Great to know.  Thanks Steve!
