All programs open very slowly with Acronis True Image 2021 installed
I have a new computer that is running Windows 10 Pro 21H2. It is connected to a network, but does not have internet access. After installing Acronis True Image 2021 and even turning off protection, I quickly noticed that it takes a long time to open any program. There is no noteworthy resource usage before or during an attempt to open a program. For example opening Windows Task Manager seems to take at least a minute, and any other program takes at least that long. If I click a shortcut to open something seemingly nothing happens and no CPU resources are being used, then after a while the program pops open and then usually opens faster after the first time as long as I don't reboot the computer. If I try and open several programs, nothing happens for a minute or two, and then all of a sudden the programs open at once. Also, if I unplug the computer's Ethernet cable, everything seems to open normally.
I have the True Image 2021 perpetual license that doesn't seem to have any kind of support from Acronis.
This seems like some kind of protection issue where Acronis is trying to verify the programs are safe to run before letting them open, but is perhaps confused by the presence of a network connection, but no internet access. This computer is used by a business in a way in which it must have this network setup without internet access.
Any thoughts? For now I uninstalled True Image and the computer went back to being perfectly usable.

I would contact customer support, but when I click for technical assistance I get the message that my product does not have support except for recovery issues.

Dear Dillon Gerdish,
In this case we would recommend installing the trial version of the latest update of the product: Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office
