Backup file name not being generated correctly
I recently upgraded from ATIH 2021 To Cyber Protect Home on 2 PC's named Creampuff and Fiona. I had recently replaced a failing HDD on Creampuff, and had to reinstall Windows and all apps. So strictly speaking, Cyber Protect on Creampuff was a new install rather than an upgrade. I reconfigured Cyber Protect on Creampuff with the same parameters as the previous ATIH 2021 incremental backup. Both backups (Creampuff and Fiona) are scheduled to run weekly in the wee hours of Monday morning. This is working correctly.
Here's the issue : the backup file for Creampuff is named simply Creampuff.tibx and is now missing the unique identifying suffix. The suffix was generated correctly prior to the Cyber Protect install. However, the backup on Fiona generates the full file name correctly. Also the log file for Creampuff does not report what's being backed up, nor the name of the backup file. I'm attaching both log files for comparison (copy & pasted from notification emails).
The Creampuff.tibx backup file size is 62GB, which is about what I'd expect for a full backup.
Thanks for any help.
-Richard
Update : I just ran the Creampuff backup manually, and it did not create a new file with a _inc_ suffix, but the size of the Creampuff.tibx file increased. Is this a new feature of Cyber Protect for incremental backups?

Steve, thanks for the prompt and informative response. After my initial post, I did some further research, and found KB63516, which you referenced, but of course by then it was too late to recall my post! As you pointed out, the backup which is still creating .tib files was indeed originally created with an older version of ATIH, probably ATIH 2017.
Since I now have ACPHO on all my computers, I plan on migrating all backups to take advantage of the new .tibx format.
Thanks again!
