Does cloud quota allow for temporary overage due to current backup (i.e. before automatic cleanup)?

This question relates to a planned weekly backup of entire system, of which the current backup size is approximately 450GB, and of which I would like to retain two versions.

If I upgrade from my current cloud quota to 1TB , would I have enough quota to allow for the completion of the third and subsequent backups, even though the quota would temporarily be exceeded during the last backup, considering that the capacity ultimately used would be within the quota once the last backup and automatic cleanup is finished?

Rodolfo, the way Acronis Cloud backups works is very different to how local backups work!

There is only ever one Full backup uploaded to the Acronis Cloud for any backup task, then after this only changed data is uploaded using a delta / hybrid incremental process.

You can control how many versions of data are retained and age of changed data to best suit how you want that changed data to be retained.  Once those criteria have been passed, then older data versions are replaced by later changes or consolidated in the cloud.

Versions only apply to changed data since the initial full backup upload - there will never be a further new full backup uploaded as happens with local backups.
