Drivers list supported by Acronis startup recovery manager (WinPE)
Hi community,
For the context : I just bought an Ultrabook (ASUS UX480FD without Gigabit Ethernet port, a classic spec nowadays), but for some reasons unclear as of today (investigation in progress), Acronis TIH 2021 launched in Windows 10 does not achieve to backup to my NAS, even if it can connect, browse and open my old TIB archives coming from other computers.
The same for all my other computers, but I noticed on my old Ultrabook that still has a Gigabit Ethernet port (ASUS UX51VZA), so I tried Acronis startup recovery manager (environment bootable when activated, press F11 at boot or boot on the ISO burnt into a CD/USB key) and by chance it supports the QualcommAtheros AR81xx !
Of course, this lightweight boot env. does not support Intel WiFi chips (too bad !), but I can achieve to backup my computer, so this one is saved !
In the meantime to find a solution to solve why Acronis under Windows can't backup on the NAS, and if Acronis decide on day to include Intel WiFi drivers (I think the day will never occurs ! but please nowadays WiFi achieve huge bandwith reliably), I will bought an USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet adapter, I found some cheap adapter on AliExpress based on AX88179 or RTL81523b chipset, but I don't know if Acronis startup recovery manager will support one of these...
Does anyone already tried ?
Where to find the complete drivers list included in Acronis startup recovery manager ?

ASRM uses Linux and it will for licencing reasons not include proprietary drivers such as those required for most wifi chips. You could use a USB 3 Ethernet dongle or use a third part (or Asus) dock (which connects to the PC by USB C/Thunderbolt port.

Thanks a lot guys for pertinent solutions provided !
In fact, I must correct the following statement:
Of course, this lightweight boot env. does not support Intel WiFi chips (too bad !), but I can achieve to backup my computer, so this one is saved !
The option to connect by WiFi is available, it's a bit hidden, but it work well, tested successfully and the speeds are not bad at all !
Maybe the ergonomy needs to be enhanced, to make this more visible :)
