Exchanging True Image Versions 2021 and 2019 between 2 systems

Thread needs solution

During building up Windwos 10 on a new disk I used an old  2019 license to backup different stages of the system.

On the "old" system, which is still running mainly, there is a 2021 version. At some time I will move to use the new installation as my routine system and want to exchange the versions then between the 2 systems. Upgrading vom 2019 to 2021 has worked several times already, there is no problem to be expected. But downgrading the 2021 to 2019? Ist downgrading possible or does it require a complete new installateion of True Image?

How to best uninstall 2021 completely, if necessary?

You will have to fully uninstall ATI 2021 if you want to go back to using 2019 plus the archives in .TIBX format created by 2021 are unreadable / considers to be corrupt by 2019 and all earlier versions.

You can create ATI 2021 rescue media to use with any saved TIBX backups.

Thanks for the clear answer. Any special software to remove 2021 really completely or via Windows sufficent?

You may need to use the Acronis Cleanup tool if anything left over from 2021 causes issues when 2019 is reinstalled, so probably best to use it after doing the uninstall of 2021 to be safe.
