Failed backups - operating system error: resource deadlock avoided
Hi.
I have recently migrated from my old MacBook to a new one. I have added the new MacBook to Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office but when I try to back up I get the above error message. I have checked and I have the latest version of the software. Can anyone help with what I need to do to fix this error. Attached is the system log. Thank you

Hi Steve, thank you for your reply. How do I rectify this problem so I can run a backup, do i delete it? I am a little out of my depth dealing with issues like this. Thank you

Bev, the main options here would be to either stop the OneDrive application while the backup is active, or turn off OneDrive Files on Demand feature so that all files are kept locally only, or exclude the OneDrive folder locations from the backup (as are backed up to the Cloud).

Hi Steve. Thank you for your help. I have excluded One Drive from the backup and all is good now. Thanks again
