How to delete Synced files from the cloud?

Thread needs solution

I have been using Acronis True Image (2020 and earlier versions) for a long time and was very happy with it. I liked the idea to backup securely online, so I purchased Cyber Protect Home Office + 1TB Cloud. I am still in 30 days trial, yet not sure if I really want to activate my license.

2 Issues:

1) Active protection gave me a lot of false alarms, for instance Steam client services were blocked (that's for gaming if you don't know). Why is that? The scanning seems even worse that Windows Defender so what's the asset using Acronis if you have to double check and doubt every warning?

 

2) How can I delete my files from the cloud? I set up a folder Sync for test purposed but stopped it and removed it. While removing the Sync I was told that files on the cloud will be deleted as well, but they are still online and I can download them. But there is no option to delete a file or folder. So what to do? How to remove folder/files out of the cloud sync? I want to free up my space and delete my private files whenever I want to. That's not a decision Acronis can make for me.

Deleting a sync – Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office
Also, we suggest to sign out from the application and sign in again.
Deleted old sync and then to recreate a new sync and monitor what will happen.
