How to recover tibx file to Oracle Virtual box

Thread needs solution

I am trying to recover a windows 7 tibx file to a Virtual box VM, using Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office bootable media

It is not possible for me to place the tibx on the same USB drive as the acronis bootable media due to file system limits.

Where can I place the file so that it is accessible for selection?

Shachar, I have no direct experience with using Oracle Virtual Box as I have used VMware for the longest time and more recently have been using Hyper-V for my VM's.

When I have done this type of restore using either .tib or .tibx image files, I have tended to have the files on a network drive that I have accessed from within the VM after booting from an Acronis .ISO (virtual CD/DVD) and connecting to the network drive by UNC \\192.168.0.xx address.

It might be possible to use a shared folder on the host PC though I haven't used that method.
