Peter, sorry but the VSS Doctor report doesn't help tell whether your Backup was successful or has failed.

I would suggest looking at the ATI 2021 GUI for the Backup task and checking what that shows, i.e. does it have a green tick for success or a red cross for failure?

If it has failed, then use the MVP Assistant tool to look at the logs for the backup to see what reason is given for the failure?

You need to be using the new log viewer tool per the link below.

MVP Assistant - a new tool, including new Log Viewer (Latest version 1.1.4.0, 9/27/2021)

If you have Disks & Partitions backups created on ATI 2020 or later using .tibx files, then look in the Backup Worker logs.

If you have Files & Folders backups using .tib files (or Disk backups from earlier versions using .tib files) or using Cloning then look in the Demon logs.

Other logs are shown by the MVP Assistant under the 'Active Logs' heading of the Log Viewer page of the Assistant.

The log files should be zipped to preserve their original file names if sharing in the forums and would need to be less than 3MB in size, otherwise you would need to share the zip file via a Cloud share service such as OneDrive, Dropbox etc.

Thank you Steve, I must be very frustrating for you, I have downloaded MVP Assistant but cannot find the logs, also I wanted to delete the Survival Disk partition on my external disc, formatting the disc does not remove Survival Disk. I have appended a graphic of Disk Management, I cannot understand where these extra partitions have come from, I have certainly not partitioned any of my discs

Peter, in your image from disk management, all the partitions on Disk 0 are very important and need to be left alone untouched!  These are created by Windows during installation and essential for proper operation.

On Disk 3, the 2.00 GB first partition (FAT32) is created by the Survival Kit process and if you want to remove this, then I would recommend using a dedicated partition manager tool such as the free MiniTool Partition Wizard which can remove the partition and be used to resize the second partition to reuse the freed space on the drive.
