recovery does not acknowledge previous backup

Thread needs solution

I did a full disk backup of my computer with Acronis Cyber protect home office to a seperate drive.then I reloaded my computer. After reloading computer l re-loaded Acronis and tried to do a restore but does nor recognize my backup

If you have the backup image file (.tibx) on a separate drive, then you will need to use the 'Add existing backup' option to add this to the Acronis GUI.  The option is below the caret 'v' to the right of the normal +Add backup option.

Once you have added the backup back, then you should be able to see the contents in the Recovery panel.

I would not recommend attempting to recovery your OS disk backup from within Windows - this needs to be done after booting from the Acronis bootable rescue media, and doing so using the same BIOS boot mode as your Windows OS uses.
