Support for TLS 1.2 or newer in Acronis email notification
I have Acronis configured to send an email when my backup jobs finish. This is a valuable feature.
However, it will stop working soon because the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Whatever The New Name is software uses an old version of the TLS standard. My email provider, in a few weeks, will require TLS 1.2 or newer.
How can I configure Acronis Protect Cloud Service Cyber i-Subscription Whatever It Is to use a more modern TLS version?

I don't understand. The product I'm using is "Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office". Isn't that the name of this forum?

Mike, in your initial post you alluded to having Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud rather than ACPHO. Unfortunately, with the latter, Acronis have not yet embraced supporting new versions of TLS or SSL, though this may happen with the complete rewrite that they are doing for ACPHO for the version that should be released sometime in the Autumn?

Sorry, I'm not using GMail. I don't know how you got that idea.
Since Acronis changes the names of their products, it's not easy to know which product I actually have. I did post in the correct area, though.
It's a pity that Acronis doesn't support their products anymore. I'll look for alternative solutions and let my subscription lapse.

Mike, the link to the information for GMail was purely for reference in case your own email provider offered any similar solution?
ACPHO is fully supported by Acronis given you have a current subscription. It is only the older ATI products which are no longer supported since the release of ACPHO and the move away from perpetual licenses to being subscription only.
If you are interested, Acronis are currently running a Beta programme for the next version of ACPHO that is open for anyone to join?

This can be a good way to communicate requirements to the developers before a new version is fully finalised.

Sorry, but I don't have time to do development work for Acronis -- and particularly not for free.
The IETF decprecated TLS 1.1 in March of 2021, more than a year ago. This plan was made known at least a year before. If Acronis is too negligent or apathetic to keep up with industry-wide migrations toward more secure platforms on their own, they don't deserve my money. Or anyone else's.
