True Image 2021 no longer wakes computer from sleep

Thread needs solution

Scheduled backup and validation jobs will no longer wake my Dell XPS 8930 from sleep. In fact, the computer will go to sleep after a job has already been started.

I believe this behavior started around the time of the last build installation. Prior to that, I never had a problem.

Checkboxes for "Wake up the sleeping/hibernating computer" and "prevent the computer from going to sleep/hibernate" are enabled. In the Control Panel, the Power Options for Sleep>"Allow wake timers" is enabled.

Any help or suggestions would be very welcome in correcting these problems.

Carl, check the wake timers option again and ensure that all wake times are enabled.

Carl, searching on Google suggests lots of people have had a mix of different issues related to sleep on these Dell XPS 8930 systems but without any obvious resolution being identified.

See webpage: How to Specify a Default Active Power Plan in Windows 10

and webpage: How to Enable or Disable to Allow Wake Timers in Windows 10

to see if these are of any help?
