True Image to Cyber Protect nightmare

Thread needs solution

I was very disappointed to have Acronis to leave behind True Image and go to Cyber Protech with no way to disable the anti virus.  True Image was perfect.  Now I have to deal with an anti virus that is not very user friendly, plus I cannot connect to my company network because I am required to have a different anti-virus.

It quarantines files all the time that I need and do not have a virus, without letting me know or giving me a choice .
I want just True Image back, such a perfect program... however if i down grade to True Image, it will still not be upgraded.

Now I am faced with using a different image program, and removing Acronis altogether after years of use.

Nathan, the new version of ACPHO which currently in Beta testing mode, will allow for a selective install where the user can decide not to install the antivirus / Cyber Protect feature by doing a Custom Install.

Link to beta registration: https://www.acronis.com/en-us/products/home-office/beta/ for the new ACPHO version.

Dear NetNathan,

Thank you for being with us so many years. We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed in our product.
In addition to Steve's advice we would recommend to check out the article: Acronis True Image 2018, 2019 and 2020: Active Protection blocks legitimate applications | Knowledge Base
