Xcopy

Thread needs solution

Cyber protect is incorrectly detecting xcopy.exe, a MS Windows command line utility, as a threat.  Even after ignoring it the first time it keeps detecting it as a threat.  This just started with the last update.  Not acceptable.

It is a bit odd, but I can understand how the algorithm could see it as a potential threat. An interim solution would be to whitelist xcopy.exe.

Please clarify, is it the last update to Windows or the last update to Acronis. Please advise the version and build of Windows (for example Windows 10 Enterprise x64, 21H1 build 19043.1826) and the build of ATI/ACPHO.

If you are using Xcopy to copy Acronis .tib or .tibx files, then this is Active Protection in action and you will either need to whitelist the tool or else find another method or turn off AAP.
