Acronis and My Computer C drive size diffrences after attempted resizing

Tried to resize the C partition of 126GB to 900 GB using Disk Director 11 home. After doing so when I view the Acronis info and it shows the partition size to be the 900GB asked for. When checking "My Computer" the C partition still shows the original 126GB. I don't believe the partition was ever resized. Suggestions?

This happens when the partition size and file system size don't agree. Try reszing the partition smaller and then larger again and see if that fixes it.

A backup image of the partition is recommended before making partitioning changes (in case anything goes wrong).
