Acronis Disk Director 10 upgrading problem (Win 7 64 bit)

Hello,
I tried to upgrade my ADD Suit v10.0 2.160 build to the latest 2288 build, but (after uninstalling the 2.160 build) the #2288 build wouldn't install and reports the following error:
- " License Restrictions:
The product cannot be installed on the platform: the current operating system is not supported. "

My Operating System is Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, with SP1.

My questions are:
1) Why the latest 2288 build does not support my OS, as long as the older 2.160 build was supporting it?
2) What can I do in order to use the latest build on my machine and OS?
3) A purchase to "Acronis Disk Director 11 Home Upgrade (English)" product would resolve the problem, or it would also fail to install without re-installing the older version first?
