Acronis Disk Director forgot Windows 7 installation
Thread needs solution
Situation: computer with 1 disk, win7 64Bit installed. After some software incompatibilities, a second disk was installed, first disk disconnected, windows xp 32Bit installed, then booted up Acronis Disk Director used to hide win xp from 7 and vice versa.
So long, everything went SMOOTH.
Until i had to change the date of windows xp.
(one software had dongle issues, so the software provider told me to switch back 30 days, save a file, change the date again and install the new dongle.
Now, Acronis Disk Director only finds Windows XP.
No Windows 7. Disk is still there, i can unhide it from Windows XP and all files/folders are there.
So, a re-adding Windows 7 fails, because ADD sees no OS installation...?
Any clues?
