Hi

I am using acronis os selector with 2 OS's (vista and ubuntu).

i would like to add an ubuntu server which would make the 3rd OS, but I can't install another OS

Can anyone help me?

What's the specific problem with installing the new OS?

Hopefully, you've already created a backup image of the drive so you can restore if anything goes wrong with the install.

Normally, Linux needs to be installed with the \boot partition being the \root partition -- don't let it install GRUB2 to the MBR. This requires forcing the GRUB2 install in most newer Linux releases since they consider that type of setup as too easy to break. GRUB is so easy to break, in my opinion, that it doesn't really matter.

I tried again recently to install but no lock

the system does not give me the opportunity to install an os via cd, it only gives me the possibility to install from floppy
