Attempt to uninstall Disk Director 10 and 11 in Win 7 64 bit

Using the recommended procedure from Acronis in article 'kb.acronis.com/content/14876' resulted in virtually ALL of my installed programs disappearing from the Windows 7 Programs and Features tab under the Control Panel. Is there a resolution for this to allow my installed programs to be visible in Programs and Features? I tried going back to a prior restore point and was successful in restoring everything including Disk Director 10, Disk Director 11, and True Image Western Digital Version, but I do not want those back on the computer. At this point in time, it WOULD APPEAR that all the Acronis software has been removed, so how can I get Windows 7 to recognize the software that is actually installed on my system?
