Boot loader menu is slow as a dog 12 mins to load and still did not work!!!

I have install the OS selector from the trial version of the Disk Director, and OMG it took so longer to load I had time to grow a full beard!! However I hope you may be able to explain why? And maybe fix the problem. I am using a Dell Studio 1737 with two 320 GB drives both in AHCI mode. The first has XP installed the other Vista and I was going to use your program to boot between the drives. Why is it so slow!!!!!

Is it slow on the menu or just on the "processing" screen before the menu?

Is the hard drive activity light turning on and off while it's loading?

You could try disabling the CD-ROM drivers in the OSS settings. It can make a big difference for a number of problems.

Turning off the CD-ROM drivers made all the difference in the world.. I was starting to get quite discouraged too.. Thank you
