Boot Manager not picking up OS

Thread needs solution

My system has 2 drives.

Drive 1:
Partition 1 - Windows XP
Partition 2 - Mandriva Linux
Partition 3 - Linux Swap

Drive 2:
Partition 1 - Ubuntu Linux
Partition 2 - Linux Swap

Boot Manager, when installed, does not pick up Mandriva Linux.

It only displays, for selection, Windows XP  AND Ubuntu.

Grub (linux) was removed from the MBR and Partition 1

There are no other boot managers installed.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks.
Andrew.

Is Mandriva using GRUB as its boot manager? If so, you may need to reinstall it to the Mandriva partition in order for OSS to detect it.
