Can not boot OS properly
I can not get past an error screen when booting my PC
I do at least have another OS that does work, and allows me to see the error log
The log shows:

From other threads, I see messages about DD - what's that?
I also see that it might help if I can add another task to the registry ... how if it does not boot.
btw: I can not get into Safe mode either
XP SP3
Acronis Disc Director 11
TIA

I am having exactly the same problem on Windows 7 after resizing the boot disk using Disk Director 11 Home. I have burned DD to a DVD so can boot to the user interface, but I don't see anything that I can do to fix this problem. Any help here in the forum?

Sorry DaveX, it's so long ago, I can not remember what the solution was ...
I used a work-around so that the PC became useable, but I never did get that DD DVD working properly

Thanks for the reply Robert. I spent a few hours in a chat with Acronis support on the issue yesterday and they have been unable to help. I am disappointed about that and a little surprised. My PC won't boot to the primary OS at all, but I was able to resize the partition and install another version of Windows 7 side-by-side. So I can boot to that new install to access files on the other partition. I suppose that I will ultimately wipe the disk and reinstall the OS... a real PITA. I will update this thread if I do ever find a fix for the problem.
